HR moves at Autodesk, Rio Tinto, and more

Rebecca PearceRebecca Pearce, HR Director, Global Territory Sales at Autodesk

Rebecca Pearce has taken on a new role at computer software company Autodesk as the HR Director of Global Territory Sales.

In this new position, Pearce leads a team of HR Directors and HR Business Partners across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and the Americas, to support the global Vice President of Territory Sales and his teams worldwide.

She was previously the HR Director for Asia-Pacific at Autodesk, where she acted as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting Autodesk's Asia-Pacific Vice President of Sales and leading HR for his organisations across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Greater China, Japan, and India.

Pearce has over 18 years’ HR experience.

Alan Tham, GRPAlan Tham, HR Team Lead, Southeast Asia, Rio Tinto

Alan Tham was recently promoted to the position of HR Team Lead, Southeast Asia, at mining group Rio Tinto, based in Singapore.

As the acting HR head, Tham currently oversees the group’s human capital operations across the region.

Up until this point, he was the HR Advisor for Singapore and Southeast Asia since July 2015.

He started his career in HR in KPMG Services in 2011 as a senior HR executive, during which he handled graduate recruitment for the company’s Audit, Tax, and Advisory business lines.

Japheth LimJapheth Lim, Assistant Manager, Corporate Development, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital

Japheth Lim has joined Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Singapore as the Assistant Manager of Corporate Development.

Lim joins the hospital from management consultancy firm Ultimate Alliance Consultancy, where he was the head of innovation and growth. There, he managed the creation and launch of e-learning products (including video recording, gamification, and product launch), among other roles.

He is also a coach and trainer, and says he is a learning and organisational development enthusiast. 

For the past 5 years, he has coached others to break out of their doldrums, overcome limiting beliefs, and enabled them to reach their desired outcomes.
