Peter Hongbae Kim, HR Head, Korea, Novartis
Peter Hongbae Kim has been promoted to the role of Head of HR for South Korea at Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis, based in Seoul.
Previously, he was based in Singapore as Novartis’ Asia cluster Senior HR Business Partner.
As the organisation’s Head of talent management and organisation development for over three years, he helped identified improvement areas from Global Employee Survey and propose and follow up action plans, organised Marshall Goldsmith’s peer coaching process for the Korea Leadership Team to improve leadership behaviour and enhance teamwork, among other things.
He has over twenty years of experience in organisation development and HR in organisations Bausch & Lomb, Merck and The Dow Chemical Company.
Siddharth Gole, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Amazon Web Services
Siddharth Gole has joined cloud computing provider Amazon Web Services as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
In this role, he will support the company’s recruitment needs for the Southeast Asian region.
Prior to this, Gole was a Direct Recruiter for the telecommunication, ICT, sales, commercial and legal industries at ResourceSolutions, a subsidiary of the Robert Walters Group.
In that role, he was part of the team that performed strategic hiring on an IOT lab project for Fujitsu, and also sourced for and placed candidates in niche roles covering IT security, network management and procurements for British Telecom.
Geraldine Goh, Senior HR Officer, Singapore Tourism Board
Geraldine Goh has been appointed Senior HR Officer at Singapore Tourism Board.
She joins from United Test and Assembly Center, where she was an HR Associate for over 10 years. There, she worked in the shared services team, handling work pass managements and the needs of the company’s foreign workforce.
She is an HR generalist with 13 years of extensive experience in learning and development, compensation and benefits, and staffing.
Shai Ganu, Managing Director, Talent & Rewards, ASEAN and South Asia, Willis Towers Watson
Shai Ganu was recently made the Managing Director, Talent & Rewards, ASEAN and South Asia at Willis Towers Watson.
In this role, Ganu leads a team of over 200 consultants covering the board advisory, management consulting, and information services portfolios. He works extensively with boards, remuneration and nominating committees, and C-suites across the region on compensation, performance management, talent management, organisation development, and board effectiveness issues.
He is a member and faculty at Malaysian Institute of Directors (MINDA) and Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), and sits on SID's Professional Development and Corporate Governance committees.
Prior to Willis Towers Watson, Ganu was responsible for talent and human capital businesses across Asia for a global consulting firm.
