With some few thousand delegates expected to walk through the doors of HR Festival Asia, it is indubitably the place to be for anyone looking to meet the movers and shakers of the HR world.

The crowds will include some hundreds of international visitors – including delegations from the region’s most important HR communities, such as The Indonesian Society of Human Resources, Ariva Philippines, the Vietnam Human Resources Association, and the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management.

Dedicated areas for lunch and coffee breaks will provide the physical space that attendees might need to chat and mingle, but with this being the digital age, there will also be ‘virtual’ networking opportunities through the event’s bespoke app.

In addition to hosting the most up-to-date timetables, speaker profiles, and exhibitor listings, the app also offers an interactive element. Attendees will be able to share their learnings from each session and stream on the social feed. Users can even sign up to interact with each other, via a messaging feature.

Find the app on the Apple or Google Play stores, either by searching “HR Festival Asia”, or scanning this QR code:

The intersection of HR and technology

The relationship between an organisation’s HR and IT departments have never been more important. At HR Festival Asia, the Singapore-based CIO Academy Asia will host a series of breakout sessions that pair selected Chief HR Officers and Chief Information Officers for intensive workshops on a range of topics.

These include detailed briefings on artificial intelligence and robotic process automation, collaboration between the HR and IT teams, and strategies for harnessing data most effectively.

The partnership will provide HR Festival Asia delegates with a highly interactive experience, combining what are arguably the two most important C-suite leaders in the digital age.

The first-ever HR Festival Asia, brought to you by the combined experience of HR Technology Conference & Exposition (US) and HR Summit (Asia), will descend upon Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on May 8 and 9. It is slated to be Asia-Pacific’s biggest HR and technology conference, boasting six dedicated conference streams and a packed Expo.
