About Our Client
Our client is in the internet/tech start-up space and had developed several apps which is recognized globally. They are currently in a highly aggressive growth mode where they have set up a brand new office in Singapore and they will be using its strategic location to oversee the expansion across South East Asia. Right now, they are looking for the first HR individual to join them to build up their people profile.
Given that it’s a new set-up, they only have less than 10 people and you will be the first HR individual to join the organization. You will report into the General Manager and you will be responsible for staffing the organization and scaling it up to approximately 150-200 people within the next 1-2 years. Even though, talent acquisition would be the main portfolio, there will be some general HR operations that you will need to be involved in. Following the initial set-up phase, you will also move on to further set up the HR structure and put in place people-retention and people-growth strategies.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess approximately 10-15 years of HRBP/Generalist experience with a passion for start-ups and heavy focus on talent acquisition. A Masters/Degree in Human Resources or its equivalence would be highly sought after. Given the expansion across South East Asia / China, they would ideally like for this individual to be multi-lingual. The ideal candidate should be aggressive, be highly task oriented and possess strong energy levels to excite and brand the organization forward.
