About Our Client
We are delighted to be working exclusively with one of our global partner. Our client is a US Listed business with turnover in excess of USD 9 billion and they are on a search for a Regional HR Director, APAC. It has operations in over 32 countries and hiring more than 21,000 employees worldwide.
Reporting to the APAC CEO based in Hong Kong/Singapore and Global CHRO based in US, you will lead a sizable team of HR Directors to drive the Group’s HR strategies in support of evolving business needs and growth. As a regional leader, you will be expected to pay close attention to shifting market condition and how they affect the organization’s talent base in relation to existing plans and pivot effectively to attract new talent. Furthermore, you will also partner with Business Leaders and Mergers & Acquisitions team to analyze and negotiate issues relating to the evaluation of potential acquisitions targets. There will be significant opportunity to help build and shape the HR function across the region while working closely with the HRBPs on the ground.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a proven leader with executive presence and astute commercial mind and the ability to effectively partner with HR, Business Leaders and Vendors. Strong BPO experience in APAC is compulsory and ideally international exposure. Work experience in a large scale (>8,000 workforce), highly matrixed international work environment is a must. You will possess extensive managerial experience and the ability to communicate complex principles effectively at all levels within the organization. This role would suit an individual who thrives in a fast paced, results driven environment and who works well in time critical situations.
