We are searching for a creative and commercial Regional HR Manager for a Renowned Brand name in the Service Industry. The organisation employs around 15,000 staff globally and is extremely well-regarded within their industry sector and has won numerous awards. They are currently on a growth trajectory expanding their global footprint and continues to be a leader in their area of expertise.

Job Description

Based in Singapore, you will report to the Regional VP for HR and will cover the region (Singapore, Japan, China, etc). You are expected to provide superior HR support and guidance to the staff in their region, by partnering with the business on a variety of areas (strategically and operationally) including recruitment, benefits, health and safety, employee relations and performance management. Being a key member of the Management team, you will are expected to provide counsel to Senior Stakeholders and advise on all human capital matters. You will design long term HR strategies and provide practical medium term solutions to meet business goals. Key to your success is your ability to build credibility within the organisation and to gain the buy in from stakeholders. As a substantial portion of your portfolio is covering Japan, it is essential for you to be able to converse in Japanese.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is someone who can work in a creative, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. It is essential that candidates are well versed in all aspects of the generalist spectrum and able to operate on both a strategic and operational level. Candidates who have a track record in designing organization level initiatives as well as dealing with daily operational paperwork. Strong knowledge of the labor laws and regulations for all Asian countries (Singapore, Japan and China) would be valuable, but not essential.
