Regional HR Manager - Asia Pacific
About Our Client
Our client is in the Aerospace industry and are currently revitalizing their strategy globally. They are in a highly competitive space and is currently one of the market leaders in the industry. In order to stay ahead of the game, they have brought on board new structures globally and are investing in their human capital to further strengthen the HR competencies of the organization. Currently, they are looking for a Regional HR Manager to champion the growth and change management.
This role reports into the Global HR Director and you will be tasked with taking the lead on HR for the Asia Pacific region. They are currently revamping plenty of their practices and hence would require someone with a change mindset to come onboard. Given the clean-up that is required, they are looking for someone who is willing to get their hands-dirty whilst maintaining a long-term strategic view of the business. Given the nature of the business, ensuring strong relationships with people on the ground are extremely critical to the success to this role. Lastly, you will be leading a team of HR professionals across the region and ensure the best class of HR delivery at every touch points along the way.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you possess a minimum of 10 years in a regional HRBP capacity, transformational management role and should have come from fast moving companies. You should also possess strong stakeholder management skills with the innate ability to influence through relationship building as there will be plenty of changes to implement and hence push-backs will be a very often phenomenon. Someone who is able to relate to both senior management and staff on the ground will be highly sought after as high touchpoints with employees would be expected of this portfolio. The successful applicant would be customer oriented and looking to provide the best class of service to internal stakeholders, having the ability to toggle between being firm and/or flexible.
