Our client is an International award-winning Professional Services firm with a base in Singapore.  They have engaged our services for a Senior HR Manager to have oversight of their South-East Asia portfolio which is growing.  You will have one junior direct report to manage onsite and two regionally who you will nurture and develop.  You will have accountability for a progressive HR agenda and stakeholder relations at Partner level. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high end prestigious firm that is all about quality.  You will own the operations through to strategy and liaise with your global counterparts for project work.

This is the most senior position within Singapore and will need to be autonomous and have accountability for the people aspects.  Stakeholder management, relationship building and flexibility for the business will be a key competency for the role as new initiatives need to have strong business buy-in.  This person will have matrix reporting to the business and HR.  Experience of this would be desirable.

The population is made up of white collar professionals who are highly educated.  This role will be responsible for the implementation of the HR strategy across South-East Asia and smooth running of daily operations.

Strategic Oversight; You will play a lead role in the development and implementation of commercial HR solutions (in line with the firm's parameters and local market) to support the firm’s strategy for South-East Asia. This will include establishing strong operational excellence, being a change leader, supporting talent management processes, operational efficiency and HR expertise.

You will act as a lead on a number of HR initiatives and collaborate with global/APAC counterparts to roll out diversity, engagement, absence, and development programmes and other projects that play to your strength and leaning.  Your role will be to ‘future proof’ the business.

Background: Experience in forging strong relationship at all levels and working in a professional services/financial services/banking/accounting/law firm is strongly desirable.
