In his new role, Subramanian, or Subbu, will lead a regional team assisting small and medium enterprises to leverage the power of intelligent enterprise solutions to transform their business.

He will also be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for SAP, focusing on cloud hypergrowth, identifying and building opportunities in new market segments, and driving customer lifetime value.

Subbu was previously Head of Midmarket, SAP India, where he built a customer-centric, partner-first business. Before joining SAP in 2012, he held leadership positions at Oracle and IBM. Subbu takes over from SVP Claus Andresen, who takes on leadership of Cloud Success Services, APJ.

Established in 2022, the Cloud Success Services organisation unites a global force of more than 20,000 people to bring new services offerings, helping customers maximise value in the cloud with SAP at every single touchpoint. Under Andresen’s leadership, the organisation works with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and SMEs across the region to ensure they extract maximum value from their enterprise software.
