Singapore’s Great Place to Work study has showcased 13 large, medium and small firms, with Royal Plaza on Scotts declared the overall winner.
The aim of the study is to help companies transform their workplace cultures to create environments where employees are empowered to perform and succeed in achieving their goals.
Salesforce, DHL and Grab are among the bigger names to have been honoured in 2019, along with smaller firms like cybersecurity firm FireEye and could computing company Rackspace.
Great Place to Work collaborated with Singapore Management University (SMU) for the research that covered 900 organisations and more than 400,000 employees spread across eight countries in Asia-Pacific.
Marketing and sales software provider HubSpot made it into the top five. Joni Ong, Managing Director, Great Place to Work Singapore, said: ‘’HubSpot distinguishes itself in the market of talents by its Culture Code, a living document spelling out their values, beliefs and quirks.
“Unwittingly evolved into a recruitment magnet, hopeful candidates cite the Culture Code as a top reason for wanting to join HubSpot,” she said.
Judges were impressed by HubSpot’s values and culture of transparency. “Unsuccessful candidates actually receive much appreciated constructive feedback from the interviewing managers. Quite awesome truly,’’ added Ong.
