BTS acquires SEAC to bolster SE Asia talent development footprint

Following a US$7.5 million acquisition, SEAC’s team of over 50 experts will join BTS, integrating into BTS Thailand and enhancing BTS Group's solutions.

BTS Group has announced its acquisition of the talent development and learning business of Seasia Leadavation Company (SEAC).

With a strong presence in Bangkok and South-East Asia, SEAC has a team of more than 50 experienced consultants and specialists who will now join BTS. Following the acquisition, which is valued at US$7.5 million, SEAC’s operations will be integrated into BTS Thailand, while its solutions and methodologies will be leveraged across the entire BTS Group.

Philios Andreou, Deputy CEO of the BTS Group, said, “We are excited to welcome the SEAC team to our family. Their focus on client results, the quality of their innovative learning methodologies, their entrepreneurial spirit, passion and great team will be a perfect fit with BTS’ organisational DNA and values.”

Founded in 1992, SEAC has established itself as a leading provider of leadership and talent development solutions in South-East Asia, serving over 1,500 organisations and three million individuals. With a track record of delivering innovative learning experience and technology platforms, SEAC has helped clients transform their work models and drive cultural change.

Post-acquisition, SEAC’s team will continue their personal development and the organisation’s expansion into new markets. “Since our early days at the APM Group, our passion has been to serve and grow organisations and people in South-East Asia. Joining BTS will exponentially allow us to do more of this,” said Arinya Talerngsri, Managing Director of SEAC.

Gianfranco Di Maira, Partner and Head of BTS South-East Asia, concluded, “The mix of people and assets that SEAC brings to BTS, combined with our current presence, will strengthen our leadership position in the region, enabling us to scale the impact on our clients’ businesses and reach a higher number of leaders. We are excited by the vast opportunities ahead as we join forces.”
