DHL Express announces several key changes in APAC leadership

DHL Express sees several strategic changes and appointments within the Asia Pacific region in order to promote and cultivate continued growth.

DHL Express, a major international express service provider, has announced several strategic appointment changes for Asia-Pacific to foster continued growth.

Firstly, the organisation has appointed Yung C. Ooi as Senior Vice President for Commercial in Asia-Pacific, taking over from previous Senior Vice President Yasmin Khan. Ooi was previously the Country Manager for DHL Express Taiwan.  With extensive experience in sales management and brand marketing communications, Ooi will spearhead the company’s commercial strategy, and seize business growth opportunities in the dynamic Asia-Pacific region.

Taking over Yung’s role as Managing Director of DHL Express Taiwan is Chee Choong Ng as the Managing Director for DHL Express Taiwan. Before this, Ng was the Managing Director for DHL Express Hong Kong & Macau.

In turn, the organisation has appointed Andy Chiang to take over as Managing Director for DHL Express Hong Kong & Macau. Chiang brings an experience of more than three decades with DHL Express in various regional and country finance roles.  

For DHL Express Korea, Han Ji Hun (Michael) has been promoted to Managing Director, a promotion from his previous role as Vice President, Commercial, DHL Express Korea.
