Zero waste to landfill, a 29% reduction in CO2 emissions, and a growing portfolio of plastic-free filters are just some of the highlights in Filtrona’s newly released Sustainability Report 2023. The global provider of filter solutions has also made significant strides in gender diversity, with women now accounting for 26% of leadership roles.
Titled Driving Sustainable Transformation, the report underscored Filtrona’s commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance. Among the key environmental achievements, Filtrona has achieved Zero Waste to Landfill certification across 10 manufacturing sites, and now sources 32% of its energy from renewable sources.
In terms of social responsibility, Filtrona has improved gender diversity with more women now holding leadership positions. This reflects the organisation’s ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace. Furthermore, Filtrona has implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives at all its sites to support local communities globally and improve societal wellbeing.
