Hundreds of jobs are becoming available for Filipino nurses in Germany, according to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

According to a statement on the POEA website, Germany is accepting applications for up to 400 positions for nurses under its Triple Win Project, a joint initiative between POEA and the German Federal Employment Agency.

The project aims to deploy nursing professionals to different German locations.

Licensed Filipino nurses with at least two years’ experience in hospitals or care institutions are eligible for the jobs.

The POEA said applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing and an active Philippine Nursing License and must be proficient in the German language or willing to undergo language training.

Those who will be hired will receive a starter wage of €1,900 (US$2,200) monthly. This will increase to €2,300 (US$2,700) once they are officially recognised as qualified nurses.
