HR Festival Asia is just a day away! It’s not too late to register, and join us at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on Wednesday and Thursday (May 8 and 9) for the region’s biggest HR and technology event.

Here are a few tips to make sure you’re fully prepared:

Download the app

HR Festival Asia is embracing the digital transformation era, once again providing attendees with a dedicated app that will be their one-stop virtual shop for all things related to the event.

In addition to hosting the most up-to-date timetables, speaker profiles, and exhibitor listings, the app offers an interactive element: users can sign up to interact with each other, via the app’s in-built messaging feature, and they can use the social feed to share their learnings from each stream and session.

Ready your social accounts

Use the hashtag #HRFestAsia to share your learnings and connect with other attendees!

And don’t forget to follow HRM Asia – our social media ninja will be updating our Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts with the latest happenings, right from the show floor.

Bring your namecards

Dedicated areas for lunch and coffee breaks will provide ample physical space for attendees to chat and mingle – so be sure to have a stack of namecards on hand!

Wear comfortable shoes

With HR Festival Asia taking up some 4,000 square metres (43,000 sq ft) of space at the venue — including 1,200 square metres (13,000 sq ft) for the Expo — comfortable shoes are a must. It’s a large space!

Do be sure to grab a copy of the show guide on the show floor, or access the online copy here — it includes a map to help you navigate the event with ease.

Don’t forget your power banks

Power outlets will be limited, especially in the smaller rooms. For a fuss-free experience, do fully charge your devices before arrival, and bring along your power bank(s).

If you have a WiFi dongle, you probably won’t regret bringing it along. There will be free wifi at the event, but keep in mind that you’ll have to share it with a few thousand other people, so don’t expect it to work at optimum speed for bandwidth-intense activities like streaming or downloading.

The first-ever HR Festival Asia, brought to you by the combined experience of HR Technology Conference & Exposition (US) and HR Summit (Asia), will descend upon Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on May 8 and 9. It is slated to be Asia-Pacific’s biggest HR and technology conference, boasting six dedicated conference streams and a packed Expo.
