Educated youth in Pakistan who remain unemployed are expected to find job opportunities under a national job programme that will be launched by the current administration.

The program will be spearheaded under the Youth Programme of the Prime Minister.

A meeting was held recently between Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar and German development agent, Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), to search ways on how the two parties can partner to establish an effective national jobs programme.

Dar expressed confidence that the country can leverage on the skills of its young people and help develop more promising job opportunities for them.
