Kimberlyn Lu has been named as Robert Walters’ new Chief Executive Officer for South-East Asia and will take overall responsibility for the recruitment firm’s operations across the Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines markets.
Her remit will include deepening the company’s established presence, which has spanned up to 25 years in the South-East Asian region, to provide solutions to organisations willing to hire in various functions and industries across the SEA key markets all together.
Through value-added services, in areas such as market intelligence and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) support, Lu will focus on enabling companies and professionals alike to make sound people and business decisions.
She said, “With over 15 years of experience in the company, I believe it is more important now than ever to actively listen to the stories and ambitions of professionals and organisations and provide specialist recruitment services based on relationship building, deep market knowledge and expertise.”
“I truly believe in the balance between relationships and results: by being authentic and genuine with people, while asking incisive and critical questions, our consultants will continue to deliver a world-class recruitment experience. This approach will remain as I take this next step to spearhead Robert Walters’ presence in the region.”
Prior to her appointment, Kimberlyn held the position of Managing Director of Robert Walters Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand, and will continue to be based in the Malaysian office.
