With more firms expected to relocate from China to Vietnam this year, a surge in recruitment demand is expected in the Southeast Asian nation, according to a report from recruitment firm Navigos Group.

In particular, the report predicts that there will be strong demand especially for senior positions in consumer electronics and real estate.

Even though traditional sales channels have been increasingly replaced by e-commerce, companies in the consumer electronics sector are still planning to expand this year, says the report.

As such, there is a rising demand for marketing and HR positions in the industry, particularly from multinational companies. The shortage of qualified candidates is so severe that companies have also begun to consider experienced candidates from other industries.
