Workday has promoted Paul Henaghan to the role of President of Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ), where he will lead the organisation’s sales efforts in the region. Reporting to Patrick Blair, President Global Sales at Workday, Henaghan’s appointment comes at a time when Workday is looking to expand its growth in key markets across the APJ region.
Henaghan, who is based in Singapore, brings with him more than two decades of experience in the enterprise technology sector. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in business development, sales analytics, sales field operations, partner ecosystems, and value engineering. He joined Workday in 2020 and most recently served as the Vice President of Field Operations, International.
“Over the last three years, I have had the privilege of working with an incredible group of employees and partners to help empower our customers to adapt and build organisational agility in today’s dynamic business landscape,” he said. “The digital economy is booming and customers are looking to partner with an organisation that can help them navigate the future of work driven by artificial intelligence and machine learning innovation.”
Henaghan succeeds from David Webster, the former President of APJ for Workday, who has decided to step down from his role. Webster will serve in an advisory capacity until April 2023, when he will retire from Workday.
