From July 1 this year, Workforce Singapore (WSG), a statutory board under Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, will see a change in leadership as Dilys Boey replaces Tan Choon Shian as Chief Executive.

Boey joins WSG from Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), where she is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Industry Clusters). In this role, Boey leads the industry sector teams that partner companies and trade associations and chambers on industry and enterprise development to innovate, internationalise, and transform.

Boey joined Singapore’s public service in August 2020 after more than 25 years in management consulting and corporate development roles with global firms such as Ernst & Young (EY), Intel Technology, and Arthur Andersen.

During her time with EY for over 16 years, Boey was Partner and the People Advisory Services Leader and led the People Consulting practice across South-East Asia, working with private and public sector clients to build their organisation and workforce development strategies.

Tan, who has led WSG since the reconstitution of the Workforce Development Agency into WSG in October 2016, will assume the role of Chief Executive of the Singapore Totalisator Board (Tote Board).
