CHRO Thailand 2026 to spotlight AI, talent and workforce transformation
- Josephine Tan
As organisations across Thailand accelerate AI adoption while navigating talent shortages and shifting workforce expectations, HR leaders are being challenged to rethink how they build resilient organisations and future-ready workforces.
These priorities will take centre stage at CHRO Thailand 2026, taking place on 27 August at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, where senior HR executives will share practical strategies for leading transformation in an increasingly AI-enabled world. Organised by HRM Asia, the conference brings together leading HR decision-makers to discuss the people strategies that will define the next chapter of business growth in Thailand.
Among the featured discussions is The AI Power Couple: Syncing the CAIO and CHRO for an Ethical Workforce, where Pratana Pam Khoongumjorn, Chief People Officer at CardX, will explore how HR leaders can partner with AI leadership to align technology investments with workforce strategy. The session will examine how organisations can establish responsible AI governance, build employee trust and develop the skills needed for an increasingly autonomous workplace.
Talent retention will also remain firmly in focus during the panel discussion, Who Do You Actually Retain? Rethinking Talent Strategy in a Lean Economy. Moderated by Luckana Sookthong, Regional Head of HR, Asia-Pacific, at Rhenus Logistics, the session features Helen Snowball, CHRO at Thai Union Group, and Montarat (Tarn) Suwannanit, Country Head of People and Culture at Thai AirAsia. Together, they will discuss how organisations can identify critical talent, rethink employee value propositions beyond compensation and create meaningful career opportunities despite economic pressures.
And as AI continues to reshape the workplace, performance management is also evolving. In The Productivity Shift: Redefining Performance in the Age of AI Agents, Arindam Mukherjee, Group CHRO and Head of Sustainability at High-Tech Apparel, and Huang Chih-Hao, CHRO, South-East Asia Region, at Delta Electronics Thailand, will explore how organisations can move beyond traditional productivity metrics to measure value creation, creativity and strategic contribution in AI-augmented teams.
Designed for senior HR executives and business leaders, CHRO Thailand 2026 will provide attendees with insights, peer learning opportunities and meaningful discussions on the workforce challenges shaping organisations today.
