Workers in Singapore can return to the workplace from April 26

From April 26 onwards, all workers in Singapore can return to their workplaces, an increase from the limit of 75% currently imposed. The government has also removed the limit on group sizes and the requirement for safe distancing as it is easing into a post-COVID-19 normal.
Employees will also be allowed to take their masks off when they are not interacting physically with others and when they are not in customer-facing areas.
Singapore’s Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) will also be lowered from Orange to Yellow, indicating a less severe situation.

With COVID-19 cases falling and stabilising in Singapore, the “time is right” to lower it to Yellow, said Gan Kim Yong, co-chair of the Multi-Ministry Task Force, which handles the government’s response to the pandemic.
“Under DORSCON Yellow, each of us must continue to comply with the safe management measures and exercise social responsibility. This means that if you are unwell, we should really stay home. We must also maintain good personal hygiene and adhere to health advisories,” he said.
