Over 140,000 found jobs on JobsMalaysia
Malaysia’s national jobs portal JobsMalaysia has helped 146,203 job seekers find a job in the period of January to November this year, according to Malaysian Department of Labor.
It said 30% (43,271) of the occupations were high-skilled occupations while 36% (53,008) were mid-skilled and 34% (49,924) were low-skilled.
“The placement according to the Malaysia Standard Classification of Occupations 2008 for high-skilled job category is at managerial, professional, technical and associate professional level,“ said the Malaysian Department of Labor in a statement.
The department added that the mid-skilled jobs were clerical, services and sales while low-skilled included operators and general workers.
JobsMalaysia was launched by the Malaysian government in 2009 to help Malaysians find employment and went through a major revamp in 2018.
As of November 31, a total of 922,336 job listings have been advertised on the portal by 23,996 active employers.
