SAP Concur announces new executive appointment for Asia-Pacific

SAP SE has appointed Andy Watson as Senior Vice President and General Manager for SAP Concur in the Asia-Pacific region.

SAP SE has appointed Andy Watson as Senior Vice President and General Manager for SAP Concur in the Asia-Pacific region (including the Greater China and Japan markets).

Watson succeeds Nick Evered, who has helmed the role since 2013 and will be retiring. He will be responsible for accelerating the growth of SAP Concur’s business in the region.

Watson was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of SAP Cloud in the Asia-Pacific, before which he led the regional business for SAP SuccessFactors.

Before joining SAP, he held finance, operations, and business leadership roles at Compaq, Siebel and Fujitsu. During that time, overseeing post-merger activities, organisational transformation, and corporate strategy.

“With the rapid economic development and pivoting of global businesses, this region is poised to expand even further as the largest business travel spending region globally,” he said.

“I am honored to lead SAP Concur’s business in [the Asia-Pacific] and to help businesses simplify and manage the complexities of a growing travel cost component while ensuring compliance and duty of care for their employees.”

SAP Concur serves 48,000 customers in over 150 countries. More than 58.1 million end users book travel and process expenses with the product.
