IIUI pioneers online job portal in Pakistan

The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in Pakistan has launched an online job portal to provide career opportunities and to maintain its employees’ record.
It will be the first university to implement such a project in Pakistan.
IIUI President Professor Ahmed Yousaf Ahmed AI Darwaish said the online portal marks a landmark moment for the university, with all research and other contributions to be made available online.
IIUI HR Director Mohammad Adnan Khan said the department has taken a cost-savvy approach and built the portal internally through its own resources.
IIUI Rector Professor Masoom Yaseenzai has praised the HR department head and his team for their efforts in building the portal, noting that it will increase transparency in the accessibility of jobs and help handle tasks efficiently.
He added it will also help improve the university’s ‘performance’ and ‘status’, once they migrate onto the online platform.
