EFMD announces Excellence in Practice Gold Award Winners

The EFMD EiP Awards recognise outstanding client-supplier partnerships in Leadership, Professional, Talent & Organisational Development.

EFMD, a global, non-profit, membership-driven organisation dedicated to management development, have announced the 2020 EFMD Excellence in Practice (EiP) Gold Award Winners.

Since 2007, the EFMD EiP Awards has recognised outstanding and impactful client-supplier partnerships in the domains of Leadership, Professional, Talent and Organisational Development.

And this year, a total of 15 organisations landed the Gold Award including Pertamina, INSEAD, Deloitte, Tjitra and Associates Consulting, and Bob Aubrey Associates, whose co-created Catalyser programme “Massive leadership acceleration in an Indonesian state-owned company” received Gold in the Talent Development category.

The programme launched by Pertamina in 2018 is the largest leadership accelerator in Southeast Asia with cohorts of 120 candidates each year preparing for Vice President and Senior Vice President positions by 2023.

Bob Aubrey, Managing Director at Bob Aubrey Associates said, “I speak for my collaborators at INSEAD, Deloitte and Tjitra in thanking EFMD for recognising our ambitious co-creation enterprise in partnership with Pertamina. We believe our Catalyser initiative demonstrates the advantages of “gotong royong” (Indonesian word for collaboration) in developing global Asian leaders.”

Other categories include Organisational Development which saw Unilever Brasil Industrial & Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC)’s “Responsible factory closing and relocation at a global sustainability leader” programme handed the Gold award.

Standard Bank & Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) & Henley Business School’s “Authentic African leadership requires ‘more than a programme’” received the Gold award in the Executive Development category.

In the Professional Development category, ArcelorMittal & EF Education First’s “Unlocking human potential through English language learning” programme achieved the Gold award.

Lastly, in the Ecosystem Development category, the Gold award went to Association of Entrepreneurship Development “SKOLKOVO Community” & Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO’s “Developing entrepreneurship in Russia” programme.
