The first-ever HR Fest Awards are drawing close to the final stage, with finalists across the five region-wide categories revealed this week. The winners will be announced on the HR Tech stage at the close of the first day’s proceedings at HR Festival Asia on May 8.

The full list of nominations is available here.

More than 75 nominations were received across the awards programme, with the Best HR Leader Award proving particularly competitive. Judges have named a strong field of 16 accolade-worthy finalists in this category. In the other individual category – the Best C-Suite Leader Award – five finalists will fight to lay claim to the coveted trophy.

The RChilli Best Use of HR Technology Award attracted a wide range of nominating organisations from across several industries – all utilising technology to ensure the best possible processes across communications, HR, and other aspects of their daily work. A total of seven organisations – including three major banks – have been named as finalists in this category.

Vinay Johar, CEO of recruitment analytics solutions provider RChilli, says that the California-based company is proud to sponsor the Best Use of HR Technology award. “Technology has made a valuable impact on the complete recruitment life-cycle,” he said. “Organisations are passionate about shortening the recruitment process and retaining employees., and artificial intelligence makes them stand out in the competition by enhancing candidate and employee experience.

“To sum up, technology influences organisations to work towards a simplified recruitment life-cycle.”

Six companies will fight it out for the Best Innovation in HR Award. They will be judged on an individual policy or solution and the way its development helped to effect the organisation’s business objectives.

And a total of 11 finalist organisations have been named in the Best HR Transformation Award.

Each nominated organisation and individual has been asked to complete a detailed report in support of their case. These will then be assessed by the official judging panel, made up of esteemed members of the HRM Asia advisory committee.
