Inaugural CHRO Thailand to explore AI’s impact on workforce and leadership

CHRO Thailand 2025 debuts in Bangkok, bringing top HR leaders together to explore AI, innovation, and people-first transformation.

As technology reshapes the world at an unprecedented speed, HR leaders in Thailand are being called to lead bold transformations that balance innovation with human-centric values. In response to this pivotal moment, HRM Asia is bringing its flagship CHRO Series to Thailand for the very first time. Taking place from 26-27 August 2-25 at the JW Marriott, Bangkok, CHRO Thailand 2025 will unite the country’s top HR minds to explore how organisations can harness AI, digitalisation, and inclusive leadership to drive sustainable growth and workforce resilience.

Under the theme Navigating the Future of HR: Shaping Innovation and Growth in Thailand, this year’s edition will zero in on the transformative role of AI and digital technologies in the workplace. For instance, the HR Workforce Panel, titled The Time is Now: Workforce Transformation in the AI Era, will examine how organisations can rethink skills, roles, and structures to stay competitive.

Moderated by Natnisha Kongtaveesawas, HR Projects Implementation and People Strategy Planning at Indorama Ventures Global Services, the panel will feature insights from HR leaders such as Denchai Petchamarat, Managing Director, KASIKORN Business-Technology Group; Wittapon Jawjit, Head of HR, Banpu; and Vibhore Kumar, Director of HR, Western Digital Corporation. Attendees can expect an engaging discussion on aligning workforce strategy with emerging technologies while empowering employees through upskilling and human-AI collaboration.

The conference will also feature a deep dive into the evolution of learning and development (L&D). Wilson Tan, Regional Account Director at Coursera—a supporting partner of CHRO Thailand 2025—will lead a session on Building a Winning L&D Strategy for Workforce Empowerment and Organisational Effectiveness. He will cover how to bridge skill gaps, tailor dynamic learning pathways for the modern workforce, and measure the return-on-investment of transformative learning on productivity and talent development.

Beyond skills and technology, CHRO Thailand 2025 will address the human element of HR. Dr Kevin Santhipharp Khamsaard, Global HR for Lifestyle Healthcare, will present Talent Spotlight, Recruit to Retain: Making Employee Rewards and Recognition More Inclusive. This session will go beyond traditional compensation to uncover the non-financial rewards that truly matter to employees.

Another key highlight will be a fireside chat featuring Agapol Na Songkhla, Chief People Officer and Head of Strategy at Thai Group Holdings. Moderated by Michael Sirikul, Group Head of People and General Administration of ChaiXi Corporation, the session, titled Preparing Your Workforce to Succeed in the Digital Era, will examine how organisations can develop digitally prepared talent pipelines through enterprise-wide upskilling and position L&D as a strategic business enabler.

Rounding out the conference is a panel discussion titled Shaping Employee Recognition and a Resilient Workplace Culture, where Akarin Phureesitr, Chief People Officer of Central Pattana; Saudi Khaneng, HR, Country Lead, Thailand and The Maldives, IHG Hotels and Resorts; and Sidchana Mahasupachai (Cherry), South-East Asia HR Director from Medtronic, will share how recognition programmes can go beyond rewards to reinforce values, build resilience, and create a culture of belonging.

Moderated by Dr. Luis D. Kristhanin, CEO and Leadership Wellbeing Coach, Eureka Global, the discussion will unpack the shift from transactional to transformational recognition and why this matters more than ever in a post-pandemic, AI-integrated world.

With a thoughtfully curated agenda and an impressive lineup of speakers, CHRO Thailand 2025 promises to be a defining event for HR professionals across the region. Whether you are navigating AI disruption, reshaping your talent strategy, or redefining workplace culture, this is your chance to learn from peers and leaders who are charting the future of HR.
