How HR can help build the future organisation
- Shawn Liew
As organisations continue to plan their recovery beyond the pandemic, what roles will the CHRO play in shaping and building the future organisation?
To find answers to this question and more, join CHRO Indonesia on October 28, as Asia’s most prominent and experienced HR leaders to meet and discuss the most critical initiatives and issues impacting CHROs today.
Kicking off CHRO Indonesia – sponsored and supported by ADP, Abbott, and Nano – official partner of Workplace From Facebook – is Jason Averbook, Global Keynote Speaker, and CEO & Founder of Leapgen. During his keynote presentation titled, Being Digital in The Now of Work, Averbook will discuss how leaders can stop implementing technology and start deploying human capabilities, and he also highlight how the workplace experience can be designed with people at the centre.
For organisations planning for their recovery beyond the pandemic, John Antos, Vice-President Strategy, Global Payroll & Asia Pacific, ADP, will present the latest workforce and recovery trends, as well as the top considerations and strategies for building a future-proof and agile workforce strategy.
He will also highlight why the role of HR has never been more important, covering areas from distributed working models to employee engagement, skills gaps to pay parity, and talent shortages to brand new, undefined skills that are yet to be scoped.
In a panel discussion titled, Adapting to The Work and The Workforce of Tomorrow – How HR Is Taking the Lead in Shaping the Future of Work?, Pambudi Sunarsihanto, HR Director, Bluebird Group Indonesia and Sandra Kokasih, Human Capital Managing Director, Sinar Mas Land, will examine why a shift to human-centric leadership is critical for the future of work.
They will also highlight the importance of embracing change in the evolving role of HR and provide tips on how HR can ensure that their organisation is spot-on with their culture that will last them through the rapidly changing world of work.
With the COVID-19 vaccination rate continuing to rise in Asia, more organisations are beginning to plan for the safe return of their employees to the office. Teguh Purwanto, President Director, PT Alere Health (Abbott), will provide the latest updates on guidelines for companies when it comes to COVID-19 testing strategies for the return to office.
He will also highlight the safety measures organisations can implement for the return to office, and share best practices from Indonesia, in terms of successfully implementing COVID-19 testing and adapting to the safe return to office.
Also joining CHRO Indonesia is Dr Bob Aubrey, Founder of the ASEAN Human Development Organisation, who will moderate a session titled, The CHRO of the Future: Time to Look at HR Through a New Lens.
Joined by Rudy Manik, Chief Human Resources Officer, FWD Life and Lelin Eprianto, Senior Vice President, Human Capital Management, PT Pertamina (Persero), the session will explain why CHROs need to be more involved in human capital strategy and the overall business, the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation for the workforce, and how HR’s influence on organisational decision-making can be further expanded and cemented.
