Prime Minister Narendra Modi made this comment in his recent virtual address during the labour ministry’s conference of state labour ministers and secretaries in Tirupati.
In his address, he called for the “complete participation of women in every sphere” and added, “By utilising the power of women, India can achieve its goals faster. We need to think of the measures we can take to include women in emerging sectors.”
He also said the Indian labour force, especially its women workers, will help India achieve its goals in the labour sector in line with “Vision 2047” as he doubled down on the social security measures being taken by the government to ensure the welfare of the labour force.
