New JobStreet platform addresses L&D needs of employees in Malaysia

To provide a platform for employees in Malaysia to grow their skills, knowledge, and career, JobStreet Malaysia has launched seekMAX, an in-app learning content platform.

In collaboration with companies, local influencers, and international media such as Bloomberg, Microsoft, The New York Times, Harvard Business Review, Complexly and more, seekMAX offers various high quality, engaging and bite-sized videos including career-related advice, industry-specific content, soft skills, and leadership ties.

According to a recent JobStreet survey, 62% of employees in Malaysia say they are motivated to keep learning to improve themselves or their current career, while 34.4% spend 5-7 hours a week on learning and development.

Offering over 1,100 free edutainment video content in English and Bahasa Malaysia via the JobStreet mobile app, seekMAX will look to build on its success in Indonesia, where the platform was launched in 2022. Over 2.5 million users have watched over 6.5 million minutes of video on the platform, with the most popular content categories being search job search advice, career advice, salary advice, and self-development.
