Sagot Ka Ng DOLE (literally translated as Answers by DOLE) aims to educate and inform workers nationwide on issues like labour laws, rules and regulations, and standards in the local working environment.

Hosted by Atty. Benjo Santos Benavidez, Undersecretary for Labor Relations, Social Protection and Policy Support Cluster, the programme addresses workers’ concerns on DOLE’s social media platform where it is accessible 24/7, according to Manila Times.

The first episode, which aired on March 9, reached 21,215 netizens where queries, questions, and concerns were responded to in real-time. As of March 16, DOLE has streamed the third episode of its programme.

Sagot Ka Ng DOLE has been deemed a good conduit to reach a large audience in the country, especially as the pandemic is still not under control.

DOLE is one of the executive departments of the Philippine government mandated to formulate policies, implement programmes and services, and serve as the policy-coordinating arm of the Executive Branch in the field of labour and employment. It is tasked with the enforcement of the provisions of the Labor Code.
