CHROs paving the way for organisational success
- Shawn Liew
As organisations continue to develop strategies that will allow them to achieve organisational success in 2022 and beyond, CHROs will have a pivotal role to play in driving their organisation forward.
After the successes of CHRO Indonesia and CHRO Malaysia, HRM Asia’s CHRO Online Series 2021, which is designed to address the most critical initiatives and issues impacting CHROs today, will conclude with CHRO Singapore on Thursday, December 2.
Kicking off CHRO Singapore with his keynote address, is Jason Averbook, Global Keynote Speaker, and CEO & Co-Founder of LeapGen. He will provide tips on how the workforce experience can be designed with people at the centre and present a Whole Person Approach to workforce experience.
Averbook will also highlight how organisations can build a People-First Culture of Connection, and how that can help them retain and hire the people they need.
He will also moderate a panel discussion that will examine how HR is taking in shaping the future of work. Also including Rohit Chennamaneni, Co-Founder, Darwinbox; Dr Oliver Crocco, Assistant Professor, Louisiana State University; and Simon Frank, CHRO, Thome Group, the panel will highlight the importance of shifting to human-centric leadership, and how organisations can embrace change in the evolving role of HR.
As Singapore shifts from a pandemic to endemic mindset, business leaders continue to manage through the ongoing ripple effects of living with the virus. Join Peter Hadley, President, ADP Asia-Pacific, as he predicts expectations as sentiment towards work and expectations of workforce and workplace continue to evolve.
In his session titled, From Pandemic to Endemic: What’s Next?, Hadley will also share his views on Asia’s business outlook and what to expect through endemic conditions in 2022.
As the impact of the Great Resignation continues to be felt around the world, organisations are facing growing challenges in retaining talent. To reduce attrition and retain talent, there are a few questions to consider, according to Pip Lyons, Senior People Scientist, Culture Amp.
These include:
- Do you have the data and insights to make the critical decisions about the new world of work?
- Are your managers empowered to help their direct reports develop and stay motivated?
- Do your employees feel clarity and ownership over their individual work experience?
To find the answers to these questions and more, join Lyons’ session titled, The Great Resignation: How to Keep Your Best People.
The second panel discussion of CHRO Singapore, which will be moderated by Dr Tanvi Gautam, HR Influencer, Keynote Speaker, Best-Selling Author & Transformational Leadership Expert, and Founder of Leadershift, will then discuss why the time is now to look at HR through a new lens.
Also including Sonali Roycohwdhury, Vice President HR, Procter & Gamble; Mukta Arya, Managing Director, Regional Head of Human Resources, APAC, Societe Generale; and Aaron Lim, Group Human Resource Director, Park Hotel Group, the panel will explain the importance for CHROs to get more involved in human capital strategy and the deployment of AI and automation for the workforce.
Rounding off CHRO Singapore is a timely session titled, Holistic Well-Being: Opportunities for APAC’S Employers. Presented by Billy Elliott, Regional Director APAC, Top Employers Institute and Ammara Naeem, Head of Client Success, Top Employers Institute, the session will highlight why APAC organisations can do more to improve their well-being practices.
Elliott and Naeem will elaborate on how APAC businesses are performing in this domain and what they can do to improve. They will also provide examples of how leading organisations worldwide are becoming bolder in their experiments to drive and support a more holistic approach to well-being.
