Increasingly, organisations have begun to prioritise diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and environmental, sustainability, and governance (ESG) as key business pillars to satisfy investors and to attract and retain the best talent.
For sustainability efforts to succeed, however, employee buy-in that translates into commitment and active involvement across all levels of the organisation is critical.
To provide more insights into employer branding and employee engagement from a uniquely Singapore perspective, integrated public affairs and communications agency Rothman & Roman Group has launched the first-ever employee communications report in Singapore and the ASEAN region.
Titled Responsibility and Sustainability in The Workplace, Singapore 2023, the report, slated for release in November 2023, will contain employee engagement best practices at organisations operating in Singapore, as well as professional opinions on employee engagement challenges and trends of key local industry practitioners.
A supervisory board consisting of professionals from notable organisations will oversee the independence and quality of the overall editorial process and will provide perspective and guidance on practice and industry areas to be included in the report.
Members of the board include Zsofia Balatoni, Founder of Rothman & Roman, and one of the project owners; Bhavani Krishnasamy, Veteran Singaporean Communication Professional, ex-President of the Institute of Public Relations Singapore (IPRS), Managing Director of International PR Training Pte Ltd and also one of the project owners; Daniel O’Connor, Human Development Committee Co-chair at the European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (EuroCham); Professor Suwichit Chaidaroon, Senior Lecturer & CNM’s Director of Graduate Programmes at the National University of Singapore (NUS); Dr Felix Tan, Associate Lecturer and Political Analyst at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU); and Vanessa Wan – Vice-President at the Institute of Public Relations Singapore (IPRS).
