Over 4,600 jobs offered by Singapore start-ups

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) also revealed the top five jobs that are offered in its weekly jobs situation report.

More than 4,600 jobs and 860 traineeships have been offered by about 1,600 start-ups to locals under the SGUnited Jobs and Skills programmes.

In the latest Ministry of Manpower (MOM) weekly jobs situation report on August 20, it also revealed the top five jobs that are offered.

They are software developers, chefs, engineering professionals, managers in sales, marketing and business development roles, and administrative and related associate professionals.

The median monthly salary for these five top job roles is between S$2,700 and S$6,000.

Other jobs on offer range from tech-related roles such as app developers to non-tech ones like sous chefs, business development and digital content producers.

MOM also revealed that between April and June, about 330 job seekers have joined the start-ups and about half were mid-career workers who took part in the Professional Conversion Programme (PCP).
