2020 Singapore HRTech Market Map identifies demand for HRTech
If HR teams adopt HRTech in their key functions, they can be in a better position to solve pressing business challenges, use budgets more efficiently, and improve candidate and employee experience, according to renowned HRTech blogger Adrian Tan. “And notably, it frees up bandwidth for HR teams to focus on more strategic initiatives,” he added.
Tan, in collaboration with hrtech.sg, a Singapore-based boutique HRTech advisory and analyst firm, recently released the 2020 Singapore HRTech Market Map, a research product that categorises over 160 local and overseas HRTech service providers servicing the Singapore talent marketplace.
Service providers are categorised across eight major talent segments:
- Talent Acquisition (Applicant Tracking System, Sourcing, Screening)
- Talent Engagement (Employee Communication, Onboarding, Performance Management)
- Talent Development (Coaching and Mentoring, Competency Management)
- Talent Operations (HR Automation and Bots, Payroll)
- Talent Rewards (Benefits, Wellness, Compensation Management)
- Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS Enterprise and SMB’s)
- Talent Analytics
- Talent Planning
The HRTech tools provided by these companies, said the 2020 Singapore HRTech Market Map, are helping enterprises hire, train, engage and retain employees better, with a strong focus on increasing “employee experience” and “organisational productivity.”
Sriram Iyer, CEO of hrtech.sg, added, “Enterprises that focus on HRTech as part of their transformational agenda are creating sustainable economic value and better workplace experience for their employees.
“Singapore enterprises should now leverage the Resilience Budget provisions unveiled in the Parliament recently by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat, and other government programmes such as IMDA’s Singapor Digital initiative to digitise their HR function.”
