Maintaining organisational agility with a hybrid workforce
- Shawn Liew
The last twelve months have brought about a renewed focus on workplace communication, engagement, wellness and productivity as hybrid workforces begin to emerge. Organisations in turn, are discovering the need to revamp workflows to drive business agility, operational efficiency and a great employee experience.
To bring more insights into today’s growing hybrid workforce, Radha Shreeniwas, Vice-President, Global Talent Partner, APJ, ServiceNow, will participate in a fireside chat titled, Architecting Cross-functional Collaboration and Experience for The Hybrid Workforce, at HR Tech Festival Asia Online 2021.
Together with Sasha Wight, Founder and Employee Experience Lead, wrkflow, Shreeniwas will highlight why improving cross-functional collaboration should be a key priority for organisations as they look to reinvent workflows to enhance the productivity and experience for the hybrid workforce and foster long-term collaboration.
They will also share tips on how organisations can reinvent workflows to support a distributed workforce, enable seamless cross-functional collaboration, drive business agility and operational efficiency across departments and, enhance employee experience and productivity in parallel.
A hybrid workforce is also likely to intensify the global war for talent as organisations look to grow their teams with top talent from anywhere in the world.
Employees today, said Charles Ferguson, General Manager of Asia Pacific, Globalization Partners, want increased work-life balance, flexibility and the option to work from anywhere. An ageing population, a growing skills gap and talent shortage further pits companies and nations against one another as they try to win over a limited pool of professionals, he added.
In his presentation titled, From Local Hires to Global Workforce: The War for Talent In 2022, Ferguson will share how organisations can remain agile as they face challenges in the war for talent. He will also explain how a remote talent acquisition strategy can win over talent and accelerate business growth, while demonstrating how Globalization Partners’ full stack global employment platform can help with compliant hiring from anywhere in the world.
With a fluidly changing business landscape in place, HR leaders are ready to shift priorities to meet the evolving needs of their business heading into 2022.
Lisa Christy, Director, HR Service Delivery, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting (APAC), during her presentation titled, Looking Ahead To 2022: Key HR And Employment Law Updates Across Asia-Pacific You Need to Know, will be examining how some countries in the APAC region might be implementing laws and policies relating to labour and employment issues in 2022.
She will also provide HR and employment law professionals with insights on how they can develop a structured approach to employee management, and implement their company’s work rules in accordance with latest developments.
