HR Tech Festival Asia 2022: What’s happening on Day 1

Kicking off HR Tech Festival Asia 2022 is HR Tech Festival Live, the first in-person HR event to be held in Singapore.

The highly anticipated HR Tech Festival Asia 2022 begins today with a one-day, in-person event that brings together Asia’s HR community to re-establish connections and discuss key workforce issues.

Taking place at the Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre in Singapore, HR Tech Festival Live will key off with the opening remarks from Zaqy Mohamed, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Defence, Singapore.

Following the minister’s opening remarks, learn how you can recharge employee experience (EX) with wellbeing at the core by joining Stephanie Nash, Chief People Officer, Circles.Life; and Co-Founder & Chief People Officer, Thrive HR Exchange.

In her session, titled Employee Wellbeing Takes Centre Stage. Recharge Your EX With Wellbeing at The Core, Nash will offer insights into how to increase engagement through wellbeing offerings, understand the business case for wellbeing, recognise how to achieve maximum impact with wellbeing programmes, and appreciate the link between organisational wellbeing and performance.

As employees continue to return to the office, John Antos, Vice President Strategy, Asia Pacific & Global Payroll, ADP, will share what organisations need to know as they adapt to the changes of shifting back to physical work environments. In his session titled, Work is Having a Moment, Antos will also highlight the most important areas where employees are seeking flexibility, support, and adaptation to the ways they work.

To gain more innovative ideas on how to enable sustained growth of your organsiation and people, join Sara Tiew, Head of Workforce Transformation and Analytics, UOB, in her session titled, Humanising Transformation – Enabling Sustainable Growth for Our People. She will also share her past learnings facilitating the transformation agenda and will explore topics for HR leaders to enable employees to thrive in an era of change.

As the race to attract the retain good talent heats up, organisations are having to hire for skills to secure the best talent for open roles. Frank Koo, Asia head of Talent & Learning Solutions, LinkedIn, in his session titled, Reimagining the Future of Work, With A Focus on Flexibility and Skills will uncover how organisations can create a skills-first approach that attracts talent, provide engaging work environments, and support career development opportunities to enable employees to thrive.

Are you looking to deliver an employee experience that ignites potential? If so, the session titled, The Future of Employee Experience Is NOW, is not too be missed. Presented by Nancy Estell-Zoder, Vice President, HCM Product Strategy, Oracle, the session will highlight why today’s employee experience needs a personalised approach that can adapt and deliver to employees’ new, unmet, and frequently changing needs.
