- Shawn Liew
The countdown to Asia’s most eagerly anticipated HR tech event in 2022 has begun. Taking place from May 10-13, the 21st edition of HR Tech Festival Asia will be presented in a hybrid event format with a week-long lineup of activities and programmes curated for Asia’s HR community, global influencers, and industry experts to learn, collaborate, and inspire.
With the theme of Return. Refresh, Reimagine, HR Tech Festival Asia 2022 will kick off with HR Tech Festival Live, a one-day event allowing Asia’s HR community to re-establish in-person connections, and exchange ideas and thoughts on navigating a new world of work.
Taking place at Singapore’s Suntec Exhibition & Convention Centre on May 10, HR Tech Festival Live will also be shining a spotlight on the best of HR in Asia with HR Fest Awards 2022. The live awards ceremony will celebrate the outstanding achievements of the region’s top HR leaders, companies, and teams from across both the private and public sectors.
For those who are unable to join HR Tech Festival Live, HR Tech Festival Online, taking place from May 11-13, will provide a virtual platform for participants to learn from global and regional HR experts, discover innovative solutions, and build virtual connections through a series of programmes and activities.
Other highlights on May 11 include the debuting ASEAN Human Development Organisation (AHDO) Summit, which will examine the state of human development at work and how this can be improved in the ASEAN region.
Moderated by Dr Bob Aubrey, Founder and Chair of AHDO’s Advisory Board, the virtual AHDO Summit will bring together ASEAN’s national HR Association, thought leaders, and the ASEAN professional community to discuss, debate, and establish a balance of economic and human development to the most diverse region in the world.
As organisations look to advance workplace gender equality, the Women in HR Technology Summit is a must-not-miss for HR leaders in Asia. Taking place virtually on May 11, the Asia-exclusive and popular half-day conference will be chaired by Jeanne Achille, Founder and CEO of The Devon Group.
She will lead an esteemed line-up of female HR leaders such as Ruby Kolesky, Co-CEO and Heart of Product, Joyous and Lydia Wu, Head of Talent Analytics and Transformation, Panasonic, in offering insights into key technologies that can help drive gender equity in the workplace.
Attendees can also look forward to the virtual HR Leaders’ APAC Summit on May 11, which is featuring a line-up of HR luminaries and thought leaders that include Josh Bersin, Global Industry Analyst and CEO of the Josh Bersin Company; Mervyn Dinnen, Author and HR & Talent Acquisition Analyst; Matt Alder, Producer and Host of The Recruiting Future Podcast; and Margaret Heffernan, Author and Professor of Practice, University of Bath, as they address the business challenges and critical priorities facing HR leaders today.
Organised in collaboration with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower and the Regional Centre for the Future of Work, the third edition of the ASEAN Future of Work (FoW) conference will take place virtually on May 12.
With Heng Swee Keat, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies kicking off the event, the prestigious ASEAN FOW will then bring together speakers from regional governments, unions, and the private sector to discuss how to work together to balance stakeholders’ needs and interests in adapting to new business models and ways of working.
