The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated events in the Asia-Pacific region’s HR calendar – HR Tech Festival Asia 2024. Scheduled for April 24 and 25 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, this year’s festival is set to redefine the future of work with its theme, Engage. Grow. Transform. Designing the Future: How HR Can Be Architects of Change.
At the heart of the festival lies the Work Reimagined content theatre, offering a deep dive into strategies driving sustainable growth and workplace transformation. With sessions curated to address the evolving needs of modern organisations, attendees can expect insights from industry pioneers, thought leaders, and innovators shaping the HR landscape.
The Work Reimagined theatre boasts an impressive lineup of sessions, each promising to deliver actionable strategies and thought-provoking discussions. Among the highlights include keynote addresses from Erwin Chong, Managing Director at DBS Bank; and Steve Boese, President and Co-Founder of H3 HR Advisors.
Boese’s keynote, titled Transforming Top Workplace Trends into Impactful and Actionable HR Strategies, will explore the intersection of technology, economics, and societal factors shaping organisational dynamics.
Meanwhile, Chong’s keynote, Rewriting the HR Rulebook: Meaningful Work and Employee Experience Redefined, will delve into the future of smart workplaces, exploring how to fuse physical, human, and digital aspects to create spaces that foster connection and collaboration, and cater to evolving employee expectations.
Beyond the keynotes, the Work Reimagined theatre offers a selection of in-depth sessions tackling crucial aspects of modern HR. Evelyn Stier, Global Head of IT Business Consulting and Digitalisation at Siemens, will lead a discussion on designing hybrid and remote work models for success, and delve into modernising infrastructure and communication practices to effectively support flexible work arrangements.
She told HRM Asia, “Hybrid work is here to stay, and mutual trust is the foundation for it. What matters is creating an environment in which teams can thrive and focus on outcomes regardless of where they are achieved – one of transparency, feedback, and empowerment.”
“Join us for an insightful conference talk on The Age of Flex: Success Metrics of Workforce Inclusivity and Empowerment where we will explore the rise of remote and hybrid world environments. Learn from real-life case studies, including how Siemens has successfully adopted hybrid work as a permanent standard. Discover the tools, techniques, and best practices for implementing new-age working models in your organisations.”
In another session, Achieving Organisational Agility through World-Class Learning Journeys, Craig Smith, Product Lead, Business Agility at SoftEd; and Shannon Ewan, CEO of International Consortium for Agile, will explore how fostering a growth mindset and continuous learning can enhance organisational agility.
The ever-evolving talent landscape in Singapore will be addressed by Chew Siew Mee, Managing Director of Jobstreet by SEEK Singapore, who will share insights into current hiring trends and strategies for attracting and retaining top talent in a session titled Navigating Singapore’s Hiring Landscape: SEEK’s Insights. Additionally, Larisa Beckhouse Okeke, Chief Marketing Officer, Singapore and Hong Kong, Global Head of Research and Insights, International Health, Cigna Healthcare, will present Investing In and Improving Employee Vitality, which will delve into employee wellbeing, a key factor in today’s competitive landscape.
