HR redefined: What does next generation HR look like?
One of the biggest challenges facing HR leaders today, is to stay on top of the multiple external factors that are impacting businesses and their employees.
Forward-looking HR leaders, however, are those who see the events of 2020 as a real opportunity to access their practices and approaches with fresh eyes, said Lars Schmidt, Author and Founder of Amplify.
He added, “What if we build the function from the ground up based on all of today’s realities? What would we change? What would we hold on to? These are the types of thought exercises that are so important right now, and there is so much potential in what we can build, and our role in creating better workplaces for employees.”
Joining HR Tech Festival Asia Online 2021 as a keynote speaker on Wednesday, September 22 at 10am (SGT), Schmidt will discuss how the role of the CHRO is evolving as the next generation of HR continues to take shape.

To succeed in the future of work, organisations need to build a new kind of leadership that is authentically more human, is rooted in empathy and connections, and which focuses on inspiring and enabling people to do their best work, suggested Katie Burke, Chief People Officer at Hubspot.
Join Burke on Wednesday, September 22 at 10.30am (SGT), as she explains why a shift to human-centric leadership is critical for the future of work, how remote work can support diversity and inclusion, and how learning and development can be scaled for HR professionals.
