New paradigm of talent management driving the future of work

HR Tech Festival Asia Online 2021 will highlight how organisations need to rethink talent management strategies as the workplace continues to evolve.

Throughout the pandemic, organisations that have successfully navigated around the uncertainty have shown one key characteristic – demonstrating the agility and flexibility to adapt to rapid changes.

As these organisations plan their strategies into 2022 however, business agility will depend on a talent model in which people can move quickly into new roles, and adapt to changing business needs, suggested Josh Bersin, Global Industry Analyst and CEO of the Josh Bersin Company.

During his keynote presentation on Tuesday, September 21 at HR Tech Festival Asia Online 2021, Bersin will discuss the new paradigm of talent management and what it means to both employees and managers. He will also review the technology solutions and innovations that are making internal talent marketplaces a reality in forward-thinking companies.

A completely virtual event, HR Tech Festival Asia Online 2021 is taking place from September 21-23 and is brought to you by the industry’s global leading HR media and event organisers HR Tech Conference Las Vegas, HRE Magazine US, HRM Magazine and HRM Asia.

The highly anticipated event is also powered by ADP, whose Chief Economist, Nela Richardson, will provide key insights on how organisations can successfully navigate the shift back to on-site work.

Drawing on new research findings from the ADP Research Institute, Richardson will discuss how companies and managers have a wide range of considerations to make in deciding what makes sense for their organisations, and how to analyse employee perspectives for the return to on-site work post-COVID-19.

Join Richardson on Wednesday, September 22, as she takes a deep dive into key issues such as:

  • Redefining expectations of on-site work within a more social work life and better work boundaries.
  • Whether working on-site sets employees up for job success and professional growth.
  • Address whether returning to the office will bring a change in team dynamics and less agility.
  • Whether hybrid work can ease the transition from the pandemic work environment.

With workforce needs constantly changing because of the pandemic, many overworked employees are contemplating changing jobs in 2021. Retaining and recruiting talent thus, becomes a challenge for organisations as the war for talent heats up – understanding what employees and job seekers want and need will be critical, said Rob Squires, VP Regional Head of Sales, Asia & Japan, Ceridian.

Speaking on Wednesday, September 22, Squires will share how HR leaders can approach digital transformation strategically to help their organisations become agile and future-ready to win the talent war and achieve business success by creating a strong employee experience.
