HR Tech Fest Connect 2020: Reskilling programs vs job redesigning
- Daniel Teo
In today’s digital economy, it is important to reskill and acquire the relevant skills to keep up with the latest technology. These could be in the space of digitalisation, data analytics or design thinking.
Low Peck Kem, Chief Human Resources Officer & Senior Director (Workforce Development), Singapore Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office, President, Singapore Human Resources SHRI, will discuss how to best reskill our workforce to be ready for the future by redesigning jobs to be future ready, at the HR Tech Fest Connect 2020 on May 13 (Day 2) from 3pm to 3.30pm, Singapore time.
During her virtual session, she will also touch on how to make sure that we do not just reskill to keep up with the latest technology as that would be merely chasing after our own tails as technology keeps changing the way we work. It is also important to take a more proactive stance and look at what the future work looks like, and how might these jobs be redesigned to be ready for the future.
She will be joined at the two-day online conference, which will be held on May 12-13, by other HR thought leaders and luminaries such as Josh Bersin, John Sumser, Jason Averbook and Jean Leslie.
These speakers, and many others, will focus on the future of remote work and explore the strategies and tools HR leaders can use to build effective teams that are able to work across boundaries, functions, cultures, geographies and time zones.
HR Tech Fest Connect 2020 is completely virtual and free to attend. Register now to immerse yourself in two full days of exclusive free content that will equip you for the future of remote work.
