HR Tech Fest Connect 2021: What’s happening on Day 1

Join Asia's largest HR network to connect, network, discover and share ideas on issues such as HR tech, workforce management and the future of work.

The wait is over! HR Tech Fest Connect 2021, Asia’s largest regional flagship conference for HR and work tech, is taking place from May 27-28, and will decode the top priorities facing HR leaders today.

Kicking off the completely virtual event is Josh Bersin, Global Industry Analyst and Dean of the Josh Bersin Academy, who will present a first look at the changes in the HR tech market through his opening keynote presentation titled Untangling the new HR tech market 2021.

Nela Richardson, Chief Economist, ADP, will in her presentation titled People at work: A workforce view 2021, share insights into how the workforce has changed over the past year, the strong expectations of future change in terms of work flexibility, the development of skill sets and the way work is carried out.

For insights into Leadership trends for a new workplace experience in 2021 and beyond, be sure to attend the session by Alex Badenoch, Transformation, Communications and People Group Executive, Telstra, while Johannes Eckold, Director, HCM Strategy & Business Development, ASEAN, Oracle, will discuss how HR practitioners are busy reskilling their workforce, addressing mental health issues and planning manpower for a future that is still uncertain, in his presentation titled The Era of Super HR is here.

In her presentation titled Talent management in a multigenerational workforce – How can HR take the lead, Rachele Focardi, Global Thought Leader, Author and Founder of XYZ@Work, will explain why being aware of employees’ needs, challenges, viewpoints, strengths and fears is key to unlock the power of intergenerational collaboration in the workplace.

To gain key regional insights into how employees want to work moving forward, be sure to join Lauren Huntington, EX Solution Strategist, Qualtrics during her session, The new rules of engagement in South-East Asia: A better way to work, while Drew Fernandez, Global Chief People Officer, Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group, The Coca-Cola Company, will advise you on how to create a holistic employee experience during his presentation on People First: Elevating experiences, transforming a culture.

Can your recruitment strategy keep pace with changing business priorities, ask Neil Jones, Regional Managing Director, APAC, AMS; and Madeline Laurano, Founder, Aptitude Research. In their joint presentation, Jones and Laurano will discuss how recruitment outsourcing can fill the Talent Acquisition (TA) capacity gaps on a smaller-scale project basis, while helping teams grow capability at the same time.

Examining the next era of work, Kevin Martin, Chief Research Officer, Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), will share key findings from a global study conducted by HRM Asia and i4cp, which detailed what the next era of work will look like.

Rounding up Day 1 is Anita Lettink, Advisor, Future of Work Speakerand Founder of HRTechradar.com, who will present her vision of how the workplace will look like in 2025, as flexible working arrangements give rise to the “economy of individuals.”

In her closing keynote titled Let’s meet your 2025 employee, Lettink will explain what this means for the workforce and how HR leaders can prepare for this future.

HR Tech Fest Connect 2021 is powered by ADP and organised by HRM Asia, and will provide the platform for the largest HR network in Asia to connect, network, discover and share ideas on issues such as HR technology, workforce management and the future of work.
