How would you describe yourself?

Cautiously optimistic, unrelenting humanist

What is your connection to HR?

Life is about people and empowering them to achieve their purpose. This is what I have been trying to do for more years than I dare to admit.

What are your passions in life, outside of your job?

Spending time with my children to help them get on the right orbit. Reading about past and present explorers and trailblazers. Discovering other people, cultures and languages.

Eventually relaxing – although I have not reached that stage yet and I doubt I ever will.

What’s your favourite quote?

Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future.” – Niels Bohr

What will HR Festival Asia delegates learn from your session?

People often underestimate and almost always misunderstand the extraordinary societal transformation brought about by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

I will explain in a clear and systematic way what AI can and cannot do, the inevitable or likely repercussions on the Future of work, and how business leaders should prepare themselves and their teams for this new era. Fasten your seat belt.
