Wong Jian Chang, Director of Singapore Polytechnic PACE Academy, gave a special thanks to the HRM Asia readers who selected his organisation as the Gold Winner of the Best Corporate Learning and Development Provider in this year’s competition. The win was a satisfying one, and represented a stamp of approval from SP PACE Academy’s wide variety of clients.

“We recognise that every organisation is unique and requires specific needs,” he said. “Our subject matter experts will assess the organisation training needs, and design a roadmap to develop the required capabilities to help achieve organisational goals.”

“Furthermore, we are equipped with industry-relevant facilities which gives learners valuable hands-on experience.”

Wong also highlighted that all of SP PACE Academy’s courses were aligned to the Singapore National Skills Frameworks and Industry Transformation Maps. “The courses are designed with the adult learner in mind by applying the appropriate andragogy and committing the best training resources,” he said.

The Silver Winner of the Best Corporate Learning and Development Provider was NTUC LearningHub. One of three trophies earned for the well-established training organisation on the night, CEO Kwek Kok Kwong (pictured, left) said it was “a great honour” to be held in such high esteem by HR professionals across Singapore.

He also gave plenty of thanks to the wide range of stakeholders who had helped the organisation rise up over the past 15 years.

“We would not be here today without our ecosystem of partners who have journeyed with us,” he said. “These include our strong network of content partners, our experienced and dedicated trainers, the unions and NTUC leadership, e21 and various government agencies, and all my staff who have helped make this happen.”

“Last but not least, I would like to thank all the leaders that we have worked with in driving learning and development in their respective organisations, and reskilling and upskilling their employees for the future.”
